After gaining her Yoga Alliance Instructor Certification in 2009 through Yoga Works, Victoria is an active practitioner of over 20 years. Founder of seek yoga - a colourful kids yoga practice. She has worked with a focus on bringing the positive benefits of yoga to children and adults, in addition to socially-conscious concerns such as youth in distress/dealing with trauma via the OM for Youth, Instructor Certification (2011). Previously a nurse and overseas school teacher, Victoria embraces a wholeness approach to practice yoga within the framework of 'sustainable movement'.
You are guaranteed a Canadian insured, registered yoga instructor - who maintains a current Level C First Aid certification.
Victoria has participated in classes and studios both locally and abroad for two decades, gaining a deep understanding of the requirements and necessary elements to what makes a solid and enjoyable practice for anyone, regardless of age or physical ability.
From an operational standpoint, Victoria has experience working within a studio, and teaching in a broad range of environments across the world - including right in one's own home.

seek yoga is founded on 3 ideals:
The first that yoga should be about creating unique, sustainable, and authentic space for yourself. That simple.
The second, yoga is about connecting; with your environment, those around you, connecting with your family and connecting with yourself through fun and engaging body movement.
The third, the result of your yoga practice with seek yoga should be about experiencing joy, sincere love, and raw internal peace.
It is by cultivating space, experiencing the natural ebb and flow through our connections that we find joy.
This is the journey we seek.
The fundamentals of seek yoga are built on three pillars:
1) The traditional yogic teachings of the East
2) The sacred traditions derived from the aboriginal knowledge of the ancient West
3) The elements present in our immediate environment
